Knocked Out Tooth

The most critical thing to remember about a knocked out tooth is how to preserve it, especially if it is a permanent tooth. You need to keep it moist. Remember to pick it up from the crown so you don’t damage the root. If possible to put the tooth back in the socket would be the best. If you can’t do that, place it in a glass of milk and call our Fort Worth office as soon as possible.

The Cracked Tooth

A cracked tooth can be serious. Gather any pieces you may find rinse then off with water. You may also use a cold compress on the side of your face to numb the pain. Once your comfortable then bring the pieces to Dr. Phillips’ office for evaluation.

Lost Filling or Crown

This can Either bring discomfort or sensitivity to the part of the tooth exposed. You can use Vaseline in the crown to reseat it until you call Dr. Phillips’ office and we can get you in quickly. If you lose a filling call office to get replaced. It could get worse if left untreated.
